Form a Seychelles Joint Stock Company
"Joint stock company" is what most founders call a company whose capital is divided into shares held by several owners. In Seychelles we deliver that as a company limited by shares, registered directly with the Registrar from our office in Victoria. Once your documents clear KYC, most companies are registered in one to three business days.

What is a Seychelles joint stock company?
A joint stock company is a company whose capital is split into shares owned by one or more shareholders, each liable only up to the value of the shares they hold. Seychelles law does not have a separate statute literally called "joint stock company." Instead, that role is filled by a company limited by shares. For international business this is the Seychelles International Business Company (IBC), governed by the International Business Companies Act 2016 and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA). For activity that needs to take place inside Seychelles or to use the local tax-treaty network, it is a domestic company limited by shares under the Companies Act 1972. Either way you get the same core idea: ownership divided into shares, multiple shareholders if you want them, and limited liability.
Why form a Seychelles joint stock company?
Ownership split by shareholding - capital is divided into shares, so each partner or investor holds a stake that matches what they put in.
Bring in investors cleanly - issue new shares to add shareholders without rebuilding the company, useful for ventures with several founders or backers.
Multiple share classes - you can create classes such as ordinary and preference shares to separate voting rights from dividend rights.
Limited liability - each shareholder's exposure is capped at the amount unpaid on their shares; personal assets stay separate.
Transferable shares - shares can be transferred between holders, and for an IBC there is no Seychelles stamp duty on the transfer.
No tax on foreign income - Seychelles uses a territorial system, so an IBC pays no Seychelles tax on income earned outside the country.
Is a Seychelles joint stock company right for you?
Good fit:
ventures with two or more founders or partners
startups raising from outside investors
joint ventures that need ownership split by contribution
holding structures where different parties take different share classes
any business that expects its shareholder base to change over time
Not a fit: a single owner who wants the simplest possible vehicle (a standard one-person IBC is usually enough), regulated activities such as banking, insurance, securities or gambling without the relevant FSA licence, or anyone hoping to sidestep tax at home - the structure does not override your own country's tax-residence and reporting rules.
